A mixture of challenges

For this card I've used Sharon's sketch on One Stop Craft challenge 16:

I've also combined last week's and this week's challenges on Art Creations Friday. This background was the inspiration for this week:

and this picture for last week (I changed the colour):

I have also used lace on my card, which is the subject on Inspire me Thursday this week.
I turned the sketch on its side.

Games pieces!

I've made two very simple cards for the 'game pieces' challenge on Theme Thursday. I wanted to find a chess quote to put on the cards, but couldn't find anything appropriate, so they are just simple Happy Birthday cards.

Cupcake card

This card has been made with BG Cupcake papers, rub on and chipboard cupcake. It is for the Charisma Cardz challenge 7: cupcakes:

House shaped card

The theme on Cuttlebug this week for challenge 18 is 'shape cards', so I've chosen this house shape and used two different embossing folders:

I chalked with Pebbles chalks. I've just spotted some stray chalk on the inside here, so will rub that out. I stuck acetate behind the front of the house and added sticky ribbon curtains.

I'm also linking as another card for this week's Awfully Big Art Adventure: doors.

Green card

This green card fits a few challenges. I used card sketch 82 on Sketches by Tamara:

I deliberately used all green, as this week's DCM dare is 'feeling green'. The background paper and the postage stamps are HOTP and the other paper and tag are from an old 'Making Cards' magazine. There are wings on my card, which is the topic on Lots to Do challenge 7 this week and on Crazy Amigos the subject for this week's challenge is 'postage stamps', which are included (my first time doing something for this challenge blog).

Lastly, Crafty Muse's challenge this week is 'show us your favourite colour'. I find it difficult to say what my favourite colour is because there is so much variety in all the colours of the rainbow. I often say that it's purple, but I think in my heart of hearts green is still a favourite (although when I was at secondary school our uniform was 'bottle green' and I think that clouded my thinking of this colour for some time). I think green must be one of God's favourite colours because he created so much in that colour and so many shades of it in nature.

A Basic Grey feast!

I've just had a delivery of a box of BG goodies - bought in Docrafts sale. I have to confess that the other day I had a delivery of BG goodies that included the new Marrakech.

John wants to know if I'm going to start papering the walls!

It must be decoupage day!

This is another decoupage card - the easy die cut version. This time the card is for Rainbow Lady challenge 47: fans

It's Jolly Nation's Miss Bennet and Mr Darcy.

Decoupage Easter cards

I've made a few quick Easter cards using die cut decoupage and matching backgrounds (a kit from QVC). I hope that these will sell when I have my Tearfund day on Saturday 14 March (anyone local, please take note).

There are matching envelopes. The background paper and the envies have a lovely sheen finish.

I'm linking these for Secret Crafter 19: Spring has sprung!
